Tonight I planned our date night. We have always been saying we need to try making our own pizza together so I decided to tonight is perfect for it. I gave Adam this card this morning which is an invite to our pizzeria. Then we he got home that night I had a checkerboard table cloth and some malt cups with straws and a sign for our restaurant(I know I am cheesy but he puts up with it). Then we made a Canadian bacon cheese pizza and some Ice cream shakes. It was delicious and we decided that we need to open our restaurant more often because we cook so well together...:)haha! I was a really cheesy night but we both loved it and we both love cooking together so it was perfect! It was great to break away from our usual date night routines!

All we have been doing for the past two weeks is watching the Olympics. As a result we haven't done anything cool enough to take a picture of so I thought we would just post a picture of what we have been watching because a picture of the tv doesn't work very well:)

We were watching the snowboarding a while ago and noticed that the snow pants looked just like levi's. We actually thought for a second that they were. So I had to look online for them. WE think they are so cool that they can make their snowpants look like faded levi's like that. The USA team was lookin very fashionable!

Adam loves Apple Pie and I am not talented(or have time) enough to make one for him. So when I saw the pies at Marie Calendars on sale I couldn't resist getting him one! He has been in heaven all night!!:)

I love teaching planets and space! Today we did a Mr/Mrs. Solar System Pageant. The kids had to research different planets, make up a rap about them and then create a picture where they turn the picture into a character. It was fun to see what they came up with. Here are four of them. I have definitely learned a lot from these sixth graders! I know all kinds of handshakes (like do you know what a turtle is or a jellyfish is...) and what it means to be cool :) haha! I love em!

I just love the morning frost on the leaves and when I went out this morning there was a perfect photo opportunity! So here are a couple of the shots I took. I am saving up for a macro lens so when I get it these pictures will be even better because I can get even closer and have it in focus! I haven't edited them either so they aren't perfect.

As you can see I am not doing to well at updating this everyday. I am taking pictures everyday but it takes me a couple days to find time to put them up. This picture is for my mother in law. She lives in Wyoming and was really upset when I told her that we had the starts of tulips growing in our garden. I hope they survive more cold and snow....stay up little guys!

Cat fight!!! haha! I am the Young womens sports coach and right now we are playing basketball. Although I wonder somedays....:) They are a great group of girls and I love spending time with them. They are all really good and we have won every game but one where we lost by one!

So I told Adam to take the camera and take a picture of his famous Philly cheese steak that he says is the only comparison to the ones in Philly where he served his mission. He found this place in Clearfield and he gets one at least once a month when a friend comes down (he got him hooked on them too). Well they were going to get one today but he accidentally left the camera at home. So he told me to get one of the Internet so here is a picture from the Internet of one. So if you want a good Philly cheese steak give Adam a call cause he knows a good place in Clearfield and I am sure any excuse he can use to go there he would love!

Today is Valentines day!!! We have been spending the weekend at Adam's parents house so his mom and I decided to send the boys out on a scavenger hunt and then have a romantic dinner by candle light waiting for when they get back. So we sent them out thinking they would only be about 15 minutes on the hunt...but about an hour later when it is dark outside here they come! We were worried the whole time they got lost or something...but they came and we had a nice dinner and then watched a chick flick!
I love that I get to spend the rest of my life with this man! He is my best friend and makes me smile everyday!

I couldn't do just one picture for today because we had to much fun to capture it with one! We woke up and got our snowmobile ready to ride, made sure we had gas, and a lunch. Then we drove over to Eric's house and loaded both snowmobiles up. We drove a while up the canyon and then unloaded the snowmobiles. We took about a 45 minute snowmobile ride up a beautiful canyon(I wish I could have captured it more). It was a beautiful sunny day but their was a blanket of snow covering everything. After about 45 minutes we came upon a hot spring where we got out of our snow clothes and into our swim suits. Sitting in that hot spring felt so good but it was hard to get out and put snow clothes back on! We ate lunch up there and then snowmobiled out again. It was a great day out in nature! A perfect Valentines date because this is how Adam and I spent most of our first dates was out snowmobiling!

Today was a fun day at school. In sixth grade we don't do Valentines with the kids so instead we did a sixth grade lip sync. It was fun to see what the kids came up with... We had things from the beach boys to Taylor swift to Hot and Cold by the chipmunks. I love me class and we definitely had fun today. At the end of the day the secretary came in and handed me some flowers. They were beautiful. I read the card and they were from Adam and Coke! It was so sweet! I love my husband! Although he did get in trouble because we weren't supposed to spend money this year for valentines...that was our rule....he said that is why he said they were from Coke because we didn't specify that Coke couldn't spend money...haha!

Adam got really bored at work and was dreaming and well this is what he found. So when our future kids, Coke is not able to help with this, become doctors and are rich they are going to buy this for their poor old dad! Sorry Cassie there is only one seat you will have to get a side car or your own!

Sorry girls, but I pretty much have the best husband ever! Since the first of February he has been hiding little notes and chocolates all around the house everyday. This is one I found this morning on the sink. It is a cute little reminder that he loves me(plus its dark chocolate mmmmm!). He does things like this all the time. I love that we still do things we did when we were dating and that he does just as much cheesy love things that I like to do for him! I love you Adam and I hope you know that!

Today Denny's was doing free Grand Slam breakfasts! The only available time for us to go together was in the morning. So we woke up early and headed over there. I had a feeling the line would be so long we wouldn't have time to do it and then we would have gotten up early for no reason. But luckily when we showed up there was only a couple people waiting and we waited for about a minute! It was really good and I was so excited cause I absolutely love going out to breakfast! Here we are with empty plates! Yum! Thanks Denny's!

Today was game night! We invited a lot of our friends over (sorry Sarah and Ryan we took the picture after you left) and this time played Boggle and The Newlywed Game. We like to play Newlywed game with new couples cause it is a good way to get to know them! So after a couple secret confessions, new discoveries about each other, and some awkward moments the night ended. Thanks everyone for coming!

Tonight's date night was the dollar menu at Wendy's! I always get fries and make Adam get a frosty and I did my fries into it. He always makes fun of me and just tells me to buy one but all I want it for is for my fries and then I don't want it anymore. So he is kind enough to share with me! Today Adam had the day off and so he decided to go exploring with Coke. In Layton they have a lake and whole bunch of forest area that they allow dogs (any park in Layton you are not allowed to have dogs). Right now the Lake is frozen over so there are alot of ice fishers there. Coke loves to run all over and we love it because he comes back very tired and worn out. Well today he went for a little dip. Adam said he was wandering around and started going toward the area where the river runs into the lake so it wasn't frozen over as much. He took one step and the ice broke so he fell in face first! he continually tried to climb back up but the ice kept breaking. Adam said it felt like it was ten minutes but it was probably only on a couple seconds.- Long enough for the thought to come in his head that he might have to go in after him!


He finally got back up and was just fine. He wouldn't go out on the ice anymore...we are hoping he will still like water and learn how to swim. Here is a picture that Adam took on his phone of some of the scenery.

Count your many blessings....Adam and I were blessed with amazing friends! We are surrounded by people who have an amazing influence on us and continue to make us smile. Today in the mail I recieved a "just sayin hello" card from my friend Erin. I am sad that I don't get to see alot of my highschool friends or college friends anymore, but I hope they know how much they impacted my life and continue too. I miss them like crazy!
I love when we get to hang out with Adam's old friends and am so greatful for the positive influences they are on us as a couple. I love people that we can just be ourselves around and can laugh with.

Well today was a long day at school trying to get ready for parent teacher conferences tomorrow. Nothing exciting really happened so I thought I would share with you my "de-stresser!" I love being at school, don't get me wrong, but I also love the car ride home. Get in my car(which because it is new it has a great sound system) and as I drive home blast some music and sing at the top of my lungs. Today just happened to be one of my favorite country bands-Lady Antebellum. I love their song Run!Sometimes it is just great to drive by yourself and sing out loud!
