Everyday Adam takes Coke for a walk in the morning after I go to work. On Sundays I get to go with them! Coke loves exploring and we were loving the little bit of sun!

Today is my video of the day instead of picture of the day. My brother Carter does power tumbling which is like gymnastics on the tramp. Today he had a competition and we all went to it. So here is some of the things he can do! He has been doing it for a couple years. He is almost the youngest boy at all of the competitions but he does great! Today he won first for his age bracket and second in the overall boys bracket!

My brother Chris came up to visit this weekend. He stopped by my school on Friday and I put him to work with school things. When Adam got home from work we went out to eat, stopped by a reception of one of his college friends and then went and played around at Boondocks, which is like a huge arcade and game place. It's fun sometimes to just act like kids again! Here we are showing off our many wins...haha...we had fun! Chris did get the most tickets!

So I am finding it really hard to be creative with this "picture a day" thing, especially on days like today when I spent pretty much the whole day at school, came home made dinner, and then went to bed. So I warn you know some may be really random...like todays!
We have been searching forever for a comforter for our bed that matched our rooms decor and we finally found one! So here is the finished project and I love it!...although now we are thinking about possibly changing the color of blue on the walls because it is brighter than we expected and we like the color blue on the comforter better. I will be lucky though if I can get Adam to paint again...he hates it...so if anyone want to come help...haha...! Now we just have to hang things on the wall like pictures and art and our room will be complete!
Oh and in case you haven't seen our branch here is a picture of it too. I have had a picture from a magazine since high school and it showed this branch and I always wanted it in my future room. So Adam(such a sweetheart) scoured the mountain side for a good branch! We finally found one...and after much spray gloss and getting rid of the bugs inside of it, he hung it perfectly on the wall! Thanks Adam!!!

This is Sand Springs Elementary(I didn't take this picture). This is the school I work at and spend many hours at. I teach sixth grade and love it! It is definitely a new adventure everyday. Here is just a little example of what my days consist of.
The counselor came to give a lesson and she asked what is "attitude". There was a pause as they were all thinking and then one of my girls raises her hand and says "It is something you give your parents!"
Haha welcome to sixth grade! I love being able to joke around with them but they haven't decided if they want to be adults or kids and some days are better than others. I have a great team and I love the curriculum. Right now we are learning about space, Greek Gods and Goddess', negative numbers and persuasive writing. Adam makes fun of me all the time because I am always staying late there just getting things done(everyone says how awesome it would be cause you are done when the kids leave and you get summers off...haha...teachers just laugh when they hear that because we all know the truth!).

Today was are weekly "24" party and if you don't know what I am talking about you need to get to know Jack Bauer a little better! Today Sean and Alison came over and we had dinner, played a little wii and watched 24! Wasn't as intense as some of the other episodes but someone will get "jacked" soon enough!:) If you want to come party every monday night just come on over!
